The EPA partnered  with the Protected Areas Commission (PAC), to conduct a two day training during November 26-27, 2019, in Santa Rosa. The training which targeted PAC Rangers and teachers of schools in the Moruca sub-region, Region 1, aimed to equip participants with tools to form new clubs, revive existing ones and work towards making  environmental clubs relevant, impactful and sustainable.

Sixteen (16) teachers from 7 schools and 5 Rangers attached to the Protected Areas Commission (PAC) were exposed to topics such as: the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Green State Development Strategy and Education, climate change, waste management, biodiversity loss, water and sanitation, leadership, environmental games and programme planning, among others.
